It does not matter whether one is a shia or sunni-What matters is when one identifies oneself in a religion one follows the basic rule(s) of that religion irregardless of sects. As for Islam, as long as one prays, fasts (holy month of ramadhan is right around the corner), goes for hajj, pays dues etc one can be a shia, sunni or anyother sect. What keeps us together in common is more important than what keeps us apart. As a Muslim, irregardless of sect, there are 5 common things:- (1) Believing that Almighty Allah is the Lord (2) Believing that Islam is His religion of preference (3) The Holy Quran is the Holy Book (4) Kaaba is the central point (5) P. Muhammad is the Last Prophet. THNX. |
